About Tenacity And Elongation Tester
The Tenacity and Elongation Tester is ideal for testing the tensile strength of chemically made fibers such as wool, silk, cotton, glass fiber and metallic threads. It can check the elongation of these fibers and show the results on an LCD Panel. The device has a computer operating software that can display real-time testing results and settings. It is incorporated with a 16-bit MCU (Mitsubishi, Japan) along with Japan made motor and ball-screw for a higher accuracy and quicker response. The two sets of grips provided in the tester makes it easy to load and unload the specimen.

FAQ's of Tenacity And Elongation Tester:
Q: How does the Tenacity and Elongation Tester function?
A: The tester operates by applying a controlled force to a sample material and measuring its resistance (tenacity) and capacity to elongate before breaking, providing crucial data for material analysis.
Q: What are the key benefits of using this tester in industrial applications?
A: Its reliable measurements help manufacturers ensure product quality, optimize materials, and comply with industry standards, ultimately reducing waste and improving efficiency.
Q: When should I use a Tenacity and Elongation Tester in my production process?
A: It is recommended to use this tester during quality control stages, both for initial material approval and for routine checks during production to maintain consistent standards.
Q: Where can the tester be installed in an industrial setup?
A: Thanks to its compact design (400 x 320 x 550 mm), the tester can easily fit on laboratory benches or dedicated testing stations within manufacturing facilities.
Q: What is the process for preparing and testing a sample with this instrument?
A: Simply secure the specimen in the tester's clamps, set the required parameters, and initiate the electric system. The machine then applies force and records both the maximum tenacity and elongation metrics.
Q: How does the stainless steel material benefit the tester's longevity?
A: The stainless steel body enhances resistance to rust, impacts, and chemical exposure, ensuring the tester maintains high performance and accurate results over extended periods of industrial use.
