The Auto Fabric Stiffness Tester is helpful in testing the rigidity of different types of woven and knitted fabrics. It can also test non woven materials such as cotton, wool, linen, etc. The tester calculates the bending height, flexural rigidity and bending modulus of the fabric through calculations made by the software integrated in it. The fabric specimen can moved and stopped at certain angle on getting bended. This movement is caused by a motor and the bending angle is captured by the laser scanning device. This result is indicated on LED through a completely automatic procedure.
