FAQ's of Electronic AATCC Crockmeter:
Q: How does the Electronic AATCC Crockmeter operate in an industrial setting?
A: The Electronic AATCC Crockmeter operates by electrically driving a rubbing mechanism over the fabric sample, simulating repeated contact to assess color fastness. This automated process ensures uniform motion and pressure, improving accuracy and repeatability of test results in industrial laboratories.
Q: What materials are used in the construction of this crockmeter?
A: This crockmeter is constructed using high-quality stainless steel (SS), ensuring excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance-ideal for demanding industrial environments.
Q: When should I use the Electronic AATCC Crockmeter during textile production?
A: It is recommended to use the Electronic AATCC Crockmeter during the quality control phase, especially after dyeing or finishing processes, to verify that textiles meet required color fastness standards before shipment or further fabrication.
Q: Where is this product manufactured and exported from?
A: This Electronic AATCC Crockmeter is manufactured, supplied, and exported from India, catering to global clients needing reliable textile testing equipment.
Q: What is the process for testing color fastness using this device?
A: To test, a fabric sample is mounted on the device. The crockmeter then performs a set number of rubbing cycles under controlled pressure and speed, simulating daily wear. The degree of color transfer is then evaluated as per AATCC standards.
Q: What are the specific industrial benefits of using an electronic crockmeter?
A: Using an electronic crockmeter ensures higher consistency in test results, speeds up quality checks, and minimizes human error in textile testing, contributing significantly to efficient production and improved product quality.
