Our Fabric Pneumatic Bursting Tester is a very efficient tool to identify the busting pressure of textile fabrics. It functions using the highly trusted pneumatic strength testing method on a variety of fabrics like woven & non-woven, knitted, craft-made and laminated fabrics. A sample is attached to the tester, apart from this a diaphragm, expansive in nature is also clamped over a circular ring. Under the diaphragm compressed air pressure is applied and is increased constantly until the sample fabric bursts. After that the conclusion is derived relating to bursting strength and distention of the fabric.

The automatic clamping mechanism ensures consistent and secure sample placement, reducing human error during testing.
Compliance and FlexibilityCompliant with ISO 13938-2, ASTM D3786, and additional international standards, this tester is suitable for a wide range of applications in textile, leather, and paper industries. Adjustable pressure increase rates and specimen diameters enable users to adhere to different test protocols as required.
FAQ's of Fabric Pneumatic Bursting Tester:
Q: How does the Fabric Pneumatic Bursting Tester ensure accurate readings during tests?
A: The device uses a digital pressure gauge with peak hold memory, which automatically records and displays the highest pressure reached at specimen failure. This feature eliminates manual recording errors and ensures precise and reliable results for every test.
Q: What are the main safety features of the Fabric Pneumatic Bursting Tester?
A: The tester is equipped with a protective cover to prevent accidental contact, an emergency stop switch for instant shutdown, and a pressure release valve to safely vent excess pressure, providing comprehensive safety for operators.
Q: When should the pressure increase rate be adjusted during tests?
A: Adjusting the pressure increase rate is necessary when complying with different international test standards, such as ISO 13938-2 or ASTM D3786. The adjustable rate ensures the test method aligns precisely with specific protocol requirements for diverse materials.
Q: Where can this tester be effectively used?
A: This instrument is ideal for industrial environments, research laboratories, textile mills, quality control departments, and manufacturing units that work with fabrics, leather, non-woven materials, or paper, requiring rigorous bursting strength assessment.
Q: What is the process for conducting a test using the Fabric Pneumatic Bursting Tester?
A: First, the specimen is placed in the appropriate diameter clamping ring and secured with the pneumatic automatic clamping system. The tester is operated using the push button interface, and pressure is increased until the specimen bursts. The maximum burst pressure is automatically captured and displayed on the digital gauge.
Q: How does the tester benefit manufacturers and quality control laboratories?
A: By providing fast, accurate, and internationally compliant burst strength measurements, the tester enhances product quality assurance and supports robust research and development efforts. It helps manufacturers maintain standards, reduce product failures, and streamline their testing workflows.
