The ET64 offers three standard tearing force ranges: 0~16N, 0~32N, and 0~64N. An optional extended range of 0~128N is also available for heavier materials requiring higher tearing force measurement.

The ET64 achieves a test accuracy of ±0.5%FS, enabled by its digital decoder technology and automatic pendulum friction damping correction. This ensures highly reliable and repeatable tearing strength measurements across all test runs.

The ET64 supports five selectable force units: N (Newtons), cN (centinewtons), kgf (kilogram-force), gf (gram-force), and lbf (pound-force). This flexibility allows the instrument to conform to the requirements of different international test standards.
